Billy's Perfect Saturday Afternoon: “A morning walk around the Hencote field, watching or playing rugby then a Chinese takeaway with family.”

Billy has spent the majority of his career thus far working in finance, following the completion of a PPE degree at the University of Stirling followed by a Msc in Supply Chain & Logistics Management. During this time Billy has held various positions of responsibility and roles in various sectors as well as participating in the wider community by organising various charty events, including driving from Glasgow to Mongolia to raise funds for Save. Latterly, Before joining Matrix Capital, Billy was working in a complaince role within the financial services sector. 

Over the last year, Billy has been working towards a career transition into financial planning and has recently completed the CII diploma in Regulated Financial Planning. He is committed to completing the level 6 Advanced diploma and working Chartered status. He is very much looking forward to putting the theory and prevous experience he has learnt into practice when he joins the team in October 2021.

In his free time, Billy enjoys exploring Shrewsbury & the surrounding areas having recently moved to the area, and enjoys meeting new people and trying the many local delicacies that Shropshire offers.
