Edward’s Perfect Saturday Afternoon: “A quick round of golf followed by a takeaway and movie night with my wife and daughter!”

After leaving school, Edward traded the Shropshire countryside for the Fife coast to study French and Management Studies at the University of St Andrews. During his time there, Edward enjoyed playing some of Scotland’s many golf courses and captained a football team.

Following university, Edward relocated to London to pursue a career in financial services. He worked in a client facing role for an investment management company, assisting clients and financial advisers across a range of investment products.

His proudest achievements from his time in London include attaining the CISI Investment Advice Diploma after only a year and a half in the industry, whilst at the same time completing the Big Half Marathon raising over £800 for charity.

After moving back to Shropshire, Edward joined Matrix Capital in June 2019 as a Technical Assistant. He is currently working towards the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning and his goal is to become a Chartered Financial Planner.

Outside of work, Edward enjoys a family-oriented life and has recently bought his first home.
