The first is to have a clear vision as to where you want to end up and secondly it is vitally important to have a detailed understanding of your existing arrangements before taking any action. A great question to ask yourself is ‘if we were meeting here 3 years from today, looking back over those years, what has to have happened both personally and professionally, during that period, for you to feel happy with your progress?’. This is known as the R-Factor Question which was created by Dan Sullivan of the Strategic Coach based in Toronto, Canada.
